The Grenada Monarchist League was founded on 7 February 2024, the 50th anniversary of Grenada’s independence from the United Kingdom. We are an entirely independent, non-partisan, and self-funded non-profit voluntary organisation with membership open to all Grenadians.
We are an organisation across our tri-island state and the diaspora, dedicated to preserving, defending and advocating for Grenada’s constitutional monarchy. The Crown is a central component of our constitutional system, forming the bedrock of our parliamentary democracy and the rule of law. We believe the monarchy is the system of government best suited for Grenada, guaranteeing our constitution, democratic institutions and future development.
Based on principles of loyalty to the King, the Independence Constitution of 1974 and to our flag, the Grenada Monarchist League is committed to Grenada’s continued status as a sovereign and independent constitutional monarchy within the Commonwealth of Nations.
